Who We Are
I started my construction company almost 30 years ago as a means to pay my way through college, but little did I know that it would become my lifelong passion and career. Over the years, I have built a solid reputation and a thriving business solely through referrals. It's a testament to the quality of my work and the trust my clients have in me. What sets me apart from others in the industry is my unwavering commitment to sustainability. From the very beginning, solar, grey water systems, and any other green form of construction have always been my priority, and I make sure to incorporate them into every project I undertake. This not only benefits the environment, but it also provides my clients with long-term cost savings and energy efficiency. Despite never advertising, my dedication to green construction has attracted clients who share the same vision and values. Looking back, I am grateful for the journey I have taken, and I am excited to continue making a positive impact through my work.
Last year, following a significant renovation on our home, we made the decision to incorporate solar energy into our lives. As a contractor, I rarely have the opportunity to work on my own residence. Given that the remodeling project took an unexpectedly lengthy five years to finish what should have been a six-month job, we felt it was best to hire one of the reputed solar companies to ensure a swift completion. However, upon inviting various solar installers to assess the situation, it quickly became evident that none of them met our requirements or standards. The expertise and quality of work displayed fell short, leaving us no choice but to do it ourselves.
The bid and design process turned out to be an unexpectedly arduous undertaking, stretching across several weeks. It seemed as though every company I approached attempted to sway me into unnecessary additional work. Most of them insisted that I absolutely needed to install solar panels before the transition from NEM 2 to NEM 3, highlighting the fact that I would lose out on the opportunity to sell surplus energy back to the power company. They all claimed to be doing me a favor by expediting my project without any extra cost. However, things took a different turn when I started seeking clarification and asking pertinent questions. It became apparent that obtaining follow-up answers to my queries required significant effort on my part, as I had to constantly pursue the companies for a response. Disappointingly, two of the companies provided misleading information about how the tax credit operated. In the end, none of the contacted companies were able to provide honest and written answers to my concerns, leaving me feeling rather frustrated and disillusioned.
After being lied to, blown off, strung out, and generally disrespected, I made a pivotal decision – to establish a solar-only division at AlrightAlreadySolar.com. My aim was to offer a helping hand to all those seeking to lower their power bills and embrace environmental sustainability. I firmly believe that there is absolutely no need to indulge in drama or deceitful tactics to secure customers. Integrity has always been the cornerstone of my approach, one that I have upheld steadfastly for nearly 30 years. I treat people the way I want to be treated, an approach that has yielded success throughout my career. By choosing to hire us for your solar or other remodeling needs, you can expect nothing less than complete honesty, respect, and a top-notch quality product.
