Josh has worked on three different homes for us over the past 8 years. The only negative thing I can say about him is his fashion sense - if style is important to you in a contractor, you should move on because Josh dresses like a blind man in a 70's thrift shop. Otherwise, Josh is honest, punctual, hardworking and delivers exactly what he promises. We live on the East Coast now and have missed Josh terribly on our last two projects with typically crooked GC's. He's truly awesome - even if you have to avert your eyes a little.

Josh Chesler has done multiple projects on my houses over the years and he is not only trust worthy and honest, his craftsmanship is of the highest quality and I would highly recommend him to anyone. And he never goes over the bid price like so many other contractors do, and he will follow the Job through to complete it to the highest quality!

We had Josh referred to us from a friend who raved about his work. Since I'm totally an obsessive person who likes to be in control over every detail, I was still slightly trepidatious about just trusting a contractor to execute my vision for a fireplace remodel in our living room.

Clearly, I was a fool to even worry, because Josh was awesome. When all was said and done, the end result was EXACTLY what I had pictured in my mind. Not to mention that he got it done at warp speed and came in slightly under budget. He also left my living room cleaner than it had any right being after some heavy demo every single night when he left. Seriously - it was spotless.

I honestly can't say enough good things about him! I'm still working on convincing my husband to remodel other things in our house just so we can use Josh again!

I can tell you, without hesitation, that Josh Chesler is the consummate professional that you want for any construction needs you may have.

Seven years ago I wanted to start a large remodel on my home and was "scared to death" about hiring anyone, as I had heard so many horror stories about general contractors.

I interviewed several contractors and was about to make my decision, when I saw Josh's truck at a neighbor's house.   After speaking to them, I decided to make him my last interview, since they recommended him so highly.  And on a gut feeling, after contacting his references, I hired him - still praying that I had made the right decision.

Well, I unequivocally made the right choice!  First of all, my architect's plans had some issues that Josh not only caught, but resolved himself, without my having to go through the hassles of re-doing plans.   Also, his vast knowledge of construction is amazing.   And he does WHAT he says he's going to do, WHEN he says he's going to do it - and that's UNHEARD of in the construction business!

I am very, very particular about any work I have done, and not once did Josh disappoint me.   I promise you, you will not regret, for one minute, hiring Josh Chesler General Contractor.  And everyone I have ever recommended him to feels exactly the same way!   HE IS THE BEST!!

After a long search and many disappointing meetings with potential contractors a friend of mine referred Josh.  This was our lucky day!  We immediately knew upon meeting him that he was genuinely a good guy.  We were doing an extensive exterior remodel of the front of our house.  Josh listened to all our questions and concerns and immediately had a plan of action.  He helped us develop a plan, guided us in selecting windows and other products.  My husband is a very detailed oriented guy, and luckily Josh is also.  He exceeded our expectations in his communication.  Josh was quick to respond to all emails and calls.  He was always very clear in what work was to be done, and his timeline was spot on! He puts forth the extra effort in everything he does, no matter how small.  I can honestly say he goes above and beyond the call of duty.

We are planning a kitchen remodel and we are looking forward to working with Josh again.  I will recommend Josh without hesitation to all my family and friends.  It was a great experience!! all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business.

So here's the thing, I was taught as a child that contractors are crooks who cut corners and rip you off. When I found Josh, I was waiting for something to go wrong. But, It never did! If fact, if more people did business the way this guy does, the world would be a happy place.

Josh took the time to listen to all the details of our dream re-model. He was realistic with the time and expense of doing the job right and also offered alternative options. Josh and his crew were always on time. They always cleaned up. The communication was flawless. He found the best subcontractors for specialty work. He was knowledgeable about every aspect of our construction.

And now, 7.5 years later, I find myself dreaming up new projects to do with Josh. He's that good!

I am super pleased with the excellent job Josh and his team did giving my old 1950's bathroom a much needed facelift in my West Hills home. I have lived here 26 years during which I endured an ugly pea green sink/toilet! It was high time to update the nasty old tile, fixtures, etc. so I got several bids. I was impressed with reasonable price for the quality of materials that Josh offered. The workmanship was top notch from demo to cleanup. I would highly recommend Josh Chesler. I now enjoy taking a shower in my gorgeous marble bathroom!
